I ate there once and everything was as expected; a rather uneducated staff and dirty uniforms. Can't wait till taco bell come. I've been in need of a place to eat artificial meat.

Default Taco Bell vs KFC.

Been to Taco Bell/Long John Silver in Concord. Not impressed. Even the TV is in Spanish. Laconia is a predominantly French community, bring back the KFC (real meat!).

What Laconia really need is a French cuisine restaurant in the like of 'Chez Vachon' in Manchester.

All I gotta say is wow BH! The prices for Chez Vachon are amazingly low! I second that suggestion. http://www.chezvachon.com/

Default The old Hathaway House

I actually thought of a French restaurant in an Italianated house but Cafula never returned my calls. You would thank a 'Chez Vachon' in that location will be a huge success!

On the other hand, I think Cafula hates a breakfast / lunch competition next to his Dunkin' Dognuts.

The worst TB/KFC I've been to is the one off I89, the last exit before Vermont. They seem to fill one order then move to the next. Several people run back and forth between the order taker and the kitchen to see of the product is ready then come back to tell the next person to go get it who returns and advises to have availability for the next item checked so they can go get it...

It's almost funny.

I've been to that same one and you are spot on. I've never seen such a screwed up place.

Chez Vachon is not what most would think of when talking about a French restaurant. Its a Franco-American joint with a strong local draw in a very Franco-American neighborhood.Great breakfast.Side of bean and ord of toast.Ahhh, beans with your eggs.

We have a friend that we boat with that would stroke out with joy if Chez Vachon would open up a location in the lakes region. (You know who you are Ray)

I'm surprised it is not a combo store like the KFC/Taco Bell in Londonderry

I just happen to think KFC is nasty. At least there's an option to get something somewhat healthy at Taco Bell!

There is nothing "healthy" about Taco Bell. Or KFC, or any of the fast food chains. If you're even remotely concerned about healthy, keep driving past the fast food joints.

Default Healthy Food!

Head to the nearest Shaw's where they have a healthy salad bar and healthy drinks!

Or better yet, head to Burrito Me! Everything is fresh and, in season, locally grown. No processed meat whatsoever! You can make two meals out of a standard Burrito (about $5). Instead of a little Taco Bell about the size if your finger.

I would have to 2nd that. Worked in Manchester for about 30 years, went to Chez Vachon frequently.

As far a fast food chains go it actually does offer some decently healthy options. The al fresco menu consists of chicken tacos with no sour cream and no cheese. Just pico, chicken and a flour tortilla. All and all way better than a mc ds cheeseburger etc. and they cost $1.50 a piece.

When flying in thru Logan, I often stop on the way home in Londonderry and grab a few chicken tacos- wrap, lettuce cheese and chicken. Tasty...

After 9, the sidewalks have rolled up in the Moultonberry!

You got that right!!!
The burritos at 'Burrito Me' are outstanding, an addiction I have accepted with pleasure. I will drive from my place (Christmas Island area) past Taco Bell to get a real burrito downtown. But, late night or a quick fix to my munchies...Taco Bell fits the bill. Either way, it's nice seeing new construction around this place. Watermark, Paugus Bay Marina, etc. If they could fix the old BK property it would be even better.

Default .....taco bell dollar menu?

Here's hoping that Taco Bell has a dollar menu ...... seriously.....very important that it should have some type of a dollar menu for us who depend on one .....does Taco Bell have a dollar menu or something similar like a $1.10-menu?

Isn't watermark located in the old BK property?

Default Taco Bell is OPEN

Taco Bell opened yesterday (Wed, May 20), as evidenced by the long line of cars going through their drive-through - and stretching down the street almost to McDonalds - around 6PM. I also agree with an earlier poster: Burrito Me is of course much better, but for a cheap late night fix (Loudon Rd location is open until 1AM) you can't beat Taco Bell's "value menu" (Yes they do have tacos, etc., for about a dollar).

Default Crazy & quite a few

It was a mad house yesterday. People lined up on Union Ave even to turn in. And this was before the onslaught of tourists/seasonals really arrived.
