Default Boating Music

Ok, there hasn't been a "Boating Music" thread in a while, so post some of your current faves to start the season!

Also, here's a screenshot of a playlist from David Crosby's time on his sailboat, Mayan, from this month's BoatU.S. magazine.

Not so much a play list but the following always evoke good memories:

December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Scarlett Begonias/Fire on the Mountain, Grateful Dead
He's Gone, Grateful Dead
Southern Cross, CSNY and/or Jimmy Buffett
Lawyers, Guns and Money, Warren Zevon

Many others, but these five popped into my head. I can hear them anywhere, anytime and suddenly I'm back on the lake, reliving a part of my youth.

I subscribe to and stream You Tube Music. It does a cool thing... it formulates seasonal and year end recaps of what you've been listening to. I can let it play automatically, or search for particular things I want to listen to. It's a pretty diverse collection!

Default Fleet Foxes

I highly recommend the album "Shore" by Fleet Foxes.
Excellent when listened to in its entirety.

Ha! Our favorite is to head out for our evening cruise and put on “Nights with Alice Cooper”! Whatever he plays!

Little Big Town's "pontoon" is one I hear a lot at sand bars.
