Default I for one . . .

am not looking forward to all the noise. I hope they start working at a decent hour. Guessing mornings on the deck will not be serene this year. And, progress.

What I mean is there are nothing like construction fencing, signs, vehicles, materials usually seen at a construction site that one would expect to see at an active demolition-construction site of this scale, so it seems like nothing is happening here .... wait & see .... time will tell ....here's hoping it gets going big-time.

Most likely, the docks and patrol boats will remain in use during the demolition-construction that is supposedly scheduled to start on June 15.

Do you know where they are going to keep the boats while this is happening?

The Marina is shutting down completely. They will no longer be in business. All customers boats must be gone by July 1st I was told (my previous post had the incorrect date and was revised) , that is when construction / demolition will most likely begin. Understand however, it will start off slowly as I believe there is some "hot work" (asbestos abatement) that has to be done first. Most likely the old windows / putty in the marina. This in itself will take some time and proper coordination.

While FLL may think the wrecking ball simply shows up and in 1 1/2 days the buildings will be gone, that's simply not at all how it works.
