Anyone been jigging the deep for stacked lakers? Trolling has been very good but I was thinking of lake trout chowder.

I've been out jigging one day per week for the past three weeks. Caught "several" each time out with yesterday being the slowest day for me. I was suprised however to catch a decent rainbow jigging in 140 feet yesterday right at bottom.

Wow that is surprising! Maybe he was one of those rainbows with an identity crises who “feels like” he’s a laker...
![]() Obviously, any fish can go wherever it darn well pleases in a lake...why? We’ll never know! |
