How’s the salmon fishing??
Headed to camp in the am. How’s the salmon fishing. Are they up or are a few colors of lead core in order? What’s the fly of choice??
Can you tell I’m excited!,, |

Don’t bother...no fish in this lake!
I have heard close to the top maybe one color til the sun gets higher then 3 colors til later in the day....try all the usual suspects for metal or streamers! Bright if sunny, dark if overcast! Unless I have that backwards... |

A little slow as expected with the cold water temps. Find some warmer water and you will find some fish. Between zero and 15’ down. Fly of choice is whatever you put on.
Good Luck! Dan
