Smile Patio Garden Restaurant

This is the start of a thread about the Patio Garden Restaurant in Weirs Beach. I'd like to invite visitors to this forum to post their reviews and comments here. We've been in business for about 15 years, but I don't see us mentioned anywhere on this forum, and this forum is already six years old! That's why he have earned our reputation as the Best Kept Secret in Weirs Beach. I can't tell you how many times we have heard from our customers (with an astonished look on their face) that they never knew this place was here...because we are actually one of the largest restaurants in the area, with seating for over 200 persons...but definitely the least known. That's because we are hidden away behind the Winnipesaukee Marketplace (the tallest building in Weirs Beach) at the end of the Weirs Beach boardwalk. You can also reach us by taking the Blue Iron Footbridge (across Lakeside Avenue from the Paradise/Crazy Gringos) to cross the railroad tracks. Or, if you're driving, you can drive across the wooden bridge that's right behind Weirs the Beef (the former Weirs Beach General Store) and park for free in our parking lot.

We offer delicious Italian and American cuisine in a beautiful, outdoor atmosphere, a full bar, and entertainment from 7pm-10pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Now that you know where we are, we hope that you will come check us out!

Patio Garden Restaurant

Our outdoor Patio (as seen in the photo) is easily accessible from our parking lot by wheelchair.

Talking Patio Garden

Glad you brought this up Boardwalk Bluesboy. As we were leaving the Gringo last Saturday we noticed your place and thought we should be checking it out.

Do you have a menu that you could post for us to see?

Hope to see you soon. R-Guy loves Italian!

RG

By the way, the patio looks lovely!

Smart move posting here. I had NO idea this place existed.

Rarely would I go to the Weirs for anything but ice cream, but I will check your place out sometime

That banner has been hanging from there for so long, I figured the place had come and gone.

We will try next time, maybe instead of the Gringo's. Free parking too, so I don't have to get a bumpy dock.

You should advertise/promote the restaurant thru Restaurant.com and provide an incentive to go there. I usually go to this website before leaving for vacation in the area. just a thought.

I was unaware you had such a good looking menu. I've been passing your place for years and thought it was just a sub place. The patio looks very inviting. I love to dine outdoors. I'll be back in a few weeks for two months. I hope to visit Patio Garden more than once !

We took another couple over Saturday evening to "a place I heard about on the internet"

So we go over the scary bridge and find the free parking, so far so good.

Nadia was our server, I didn't ask if she was the Nadia. Service was good, we sat in the patio area as it was a beautiful cool night. As we were wrapping up the live band started on the other side of the building, we should have timed our visit better.

The food was great, we had a good mix to test the place out. We had, Burbon steak tips, veal parm, baked stuff haddock and haddock Francese. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Almost perfect.

One diner did find the Francese sauce a little too strong with wine but still enjoyed the meal. The fish dishes were huge, the steak tips and veal were average size. One diner ordered a salad that was large enough to be a meal.

we were at the Weirs all last week and tried out a lot of places and would have tried the Patio Garden....
but it always seemed pretty quiet when we walked by.......
as busy places usually are a tell tale sign of good place and that is usually what we try....
and the person I talked to on the phone was super nice.......answered a lot of guestions quickly
but with so many places to try.......in a short period of time.....we opted out......probably our loss
