Default Mason / Chimney repair

I’m looking for a recommendation for a local mason to repair a few loose faux stones in my chimney. I’d appreciate any names for someone who is reliable and does what they say they will.

I called the local guy who advertises in the Sun, he came out and promised an estimate the next day, I’ve called his office several times since then and got all kinds of excuses and promises but no estimate. I’m probably lucky as his work is no doubt as bad as his customer service.

Thanks

CT

Try Jay Guarino in Meredith. He does a lot of work on nights and weekends. He did my entire chimney and it came out fantastic. He's easy to work with. Phone 603-279-7807

Jim Huston Moultonboro, 253-7680 Knowledgeable, reasonable, hard working, prompt, does great work. He rebuilt one chimney, put a new cap on another large chimney for me. Solved my problems. Highly recommend.

Default Dan Richardson 569-6498

I can highly recommend Dan The Country Sweep, from Wolfeboro.
569-6498

We had a chimney that was leaking/weeping in water. Dan took a genuine interest in solving the issue, and did a great job sealing it up. We solicited three quotes and Dan was one of the lowest and he was easily the most experienced.

He wasn't interested in upselling unnecessary repairs. He knew his stuff, what he expected to work, and what the steps would be, with price ranges, if this (unexpectedly) didn't work. There was no doubt in my mind Dan is highly experienced professional and is our number one call should we need chimney work again.

Due to rainy conditions at the time, he made many, many trips to our home between forecasted storms. He's a great guy, very easy going.

I found his name here in the forums, recommended by several others.
