Any suggestions on how to remove and dispose of an old hot tub? Approximate cost?

You might cut it into four or six pieces with a chainsaw, and remove it to your town transfer station as residential debris.

Call the local hot tub stores and ask what they do. I don't know where you are but I know there are at least two stores selling hot tubs in Meredith.

If you don't want to do it yourself call these people:

Mount a transom bracket on it and hang an outboard motor.

Then start a "Hot Tub Outboard Race" event on the big lake.

Advertise it all around southern New England and get it into the news media.

Crowds of people will flood the lakes region and buy up all the real estate until the prices exceed $1mm for a bungalow with no view.

Weekend traffic will set records and... wait a minute... um...

I like sawzall, pick up then the dump better!

Agreed. There should be "Buy Nothing (town)" group on FB. Put your locations (summer and winter) on your forum profile. Most areasx have trash services that will do single item pick up. Specify if the machinery works (heater, filter circulator, air pump, work That may have some value to another party.
