Default HotShot Drivers

Any recommendations of what to check for when hiring a HotShot to deliver a boat cross country?

Thanks

For my purposes, its a commercial driver who will transport a boat (on trailer) from its current location to me.

There are other names, but HotShot is the one I have heard the most.

Thanks for the like SteveA!

Ok, I had never heard that expression before. I do know a few things about shipping boats, however. Have you looked at http://www.uship.com/ yet?

I first would contact Jim Varney in NH and see if he is available for the job: (603) 867-1878.

If it's not Jim's cup of tea...

If coming from FL, you might try Scott Walker at http://landtowtransport.com/

If going West - East, you might try Wayne Kraft at http://www.autokrafttransport.com/

Additionally, Tom Camel at http://www.interstatehaulers.com/

I have moved multiple boats both out and back using uship and have had good luck. Depending on the route and type of load I may have one or two drivers that I have used from uship I can put you in contact with. If you have details on the load post it to the thread.

Default Ship a boat?

So let me get this straight. You're looking for a hotshot to ship a boat? Who oversees the hotshot? Are you really going to hand over your craft to Kraft, as gf2020 suggested? And while I don't sea anything wrong with you shipping using uship, you might keel over once you sea the price. Good luck.

WOW, now thats a talent,,,

And me who is so talent-less that I was thrown out of music class because I couldn't even play the radio,,,

As for the HotShot, all set. With any luck the new toy will be home in a week.

Thanks Much
