Default What a difference

Thinking today would be a good day to visit Mount Washington? Nice clear skies, 73 degrees, what could be a better way to spend the day? Think again.

Visibility: 1/16 of a mile
Temperature 42.6°F
Wind 37.3 mph
Direction 320° (NW)
Gust 47.2 mph
Wind Chill 30.9°F
Wednesday 1:00 PM

What a difference, huh?

Cool

Never thought I say it but I'm looking forward to tomorrows rain.
My lawn is finally starting to turn a little green.

I've been looking forward to rain all month. We've gotten about 1" of rain in the month of July.

Combine this Winter with a fairly dry Summer and you have to wonder when/if you should be worrying about your well. Anyone heard any stories of area wells drying up? I don't THINK it's that bad yet but it would be nice to have a little reassurance.

Default Finally...

2.3" of much needed rain at our place over the last few days. Guess I'll have to start mowing the back lawn again...

Thumbs up

Mine is actually starting to green up again. I thought for sure it was gone till next year.
I might have to mow by the weekend. Only used the mower twice in the last 5 weeks, glad I used stabilizer in the mower gas.
