Change of Address issue

My question for the forum today is:
I have just moved and I am in the process of changing all my addresses over. I noticed that my home address is llisted on the Boating Certificate card that is issued. How do I go about changing this address and is there a charge with it?
I live in MA so it is not something I can do at the MA registry. I wonder if there is a sticker like here in MA for when you change your address and your License is still active,and then is changes when you renew the license

I did some digging and found out what had to be done. You have to go to:

www.nhboatingeducation.com
then on the left there is a link for documents and forms which bring you to this site address:

http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/s...ged/forms.html

use the form that is called:

Replacement Card Payment Form

add in my new address and send in a check for $10 for a new card

Can you believe that we have to pay to amend addresses on these things to.
And yes you can get in trouble for not having matchign information, she would not tell me what, but I am sure it is something small but you probably would not look good in the eyes of the MP if they stop you.

I think this isa crazy, half the price of the card to begin with, mine is only a year old and never expires. So just a warning to you all.

I forgot to add that on the form it can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to get the replacement card in the mail.
I have to do 2 cards my wife and I

You can get an updated card by completing the form here - http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/s...yment_form.pdf
and sending it in with the $10 fee.

Yes I can!! They may not tax you on everything in NH like some other states but they'll KILL you with FEES!!! There's a fee to do just about anything, but they're quick to point out you're not being taxed!! Perhaps it's time they really considered a broad-based tax (based on one's ability to pay!) just to centralize all the little taxes and fees we pay now!! Remember, we already have a broad-based tax, it's just not based on one's ability to pay it!! It's time to equalize the tax base!!

While I'm on the subject of fees, perhaps it's time a fee was charged to operators of non-motorized boats (kayak, canoe, etc.) on state waterways!! I'm sure there have been instances of kayakers or canoers needing rescue and someone has to pay for the rescue services!!

That link says you have to return your original card so it might be a good idea to make a copy of it, and the form, if you want to go boating in the meantime.
