1. Parade on Court St. in laconia in the 50s
2. Fire in the Weirs in the 50s
3. Aerial photo of Lakeport in the 40s or 50s.

Thanks for sharing Lacpicguy. Hard to imagine a thriving, vibrant downtown Laconia with so many successful small businesses....

Default Urban Renewal

Laconia was vibrant until the feds dangled the Urban Renewal carrot front of the select men. After that, everyone beg to differ.

Today, the folks in Laconia has a bad taste in the mouth regarding to federal projects.
