Default opportunity calling-Meredith

Wanna start your own restaurant? Craigslist has a Meredith downtown restaurant for sale for 50k, just across the street from Lake Winnipesaukee. I have no knowledge other than what is in the listing, and my GUESS is Zacky's, and I could be incorrect as it is a guess. Seems like an excellent location, and an attractive price if it is Zacky's.

Can someone post the listing as my links are temporarily out-of-order.

....helloooooo Samian!

....helloooooo Meredith!

Here it is FLL. You will need to get a chef's hat.

Default Lease running out??

If I was a betting man, I would guess the lease is running out real soon, and MVSB (bank owns the building) is not willing to extend. If thats the case, your buying a couple pizza ovens, a fryer, tables and chairs.

I remember something about turning that area into a roundabout. Hopefully that idea was scratched.

The Roundabout concept is still being evaluated, and a public hearing will be held. It has a projected 2012 start date. Info Here: meredith3-25.com

Would seem likely. Otherwise a business like that is usually sold on some multiple of projected sales, and if $50000 is a "multiple" of their business, well you wouldn't be buying anything but equipment and a sign.

Say...maybe yes....maybe no? For example, the nh-craigslist business classified has a listing with four excellent photos of a South Nashua pizza ristorante for sale for $49,000. So, it is not totally out of the question that 50k could set you up with a Meredith, Lake Winnipesaukee, dining room and take-out location, bathrooms, parking spaces, and existing fixtures. Monthly rent is extra, of course.

And, Rochester NH has a pizza store for sale for $36,000. on Route 125-N.

Seems to me this mystery Meredith restaurant might be Zacky's, Broken Spoke or Sunshine & Pa's. Most likely....it is Zacky's...... but I have no clue?

Business rule #1: build a base of regular repeat customers, Without regulars, you are out-of-business.

I think Zackys and Camp are the only restaurants in Meredith located across the street from the lake. Camp doesn't make sense so Zackys would seem to be the logical choice. Anyone else posting that ad is padding the resume

The Broken Spoke is in the Weirs. The Broken Antler is in Meredith and I know for a fact that it is not for sale.
