Default Sake?

Anyone know where you can buy some decent bottles of Sake around here? The N.H. State Liquor stores in the area usually only have one or two brands at most. I’m looking for a nice Nigori and not having any luck. Thanks for any tips!

Lots of brands are carried by the state, but not in every store. Online or i a store you can look up to see if the state carries it at all. If the state sells it you'll find which stores. Biggest choice is in Hooksett (southbound) Portsmouth and Salem or Nashua. The state warehouse will ship a case of anything to your local store as a special order.

Good to know! Thanks....I was hoping there might be a small local specialty shop. I’ll just need to plan my Sake stock up accordingly.

Default Tsk tsk

Jdarby, you should know better than to let your supply of your favorite sake get low, for goodness sake.

You know, I might be wrong but I thought the Wineing Butcher in Gilford had Sake at one time...Might be worth a phone call to check.

Thanks Dan! You know I drove by their location in Meredith tonight and wondered if they might carry it so your reply is very timely!

It's completely out of the way distance-wise but I'd be calling any of the Asian markets in Lowell if you're looking for something that specific.

Go visit a larger store like Hooksett or Hampton. The new Tilton store may also have a larger assortment
