It was taken from the deck of my home up on hill behind Ellacoya State Park.

Tough job but someone has to do it: Be out on an island (Welch's) with great views, and when you can't be out there, have this for a view. Tsk, tsk, tsk...such a tough life.

Well yes kind of... I can see my breakwater and flagpole on Welch from my mainland home.

Default Love the pink mountains

That wonderful first shot is similar to views we often have here in a Tucson, as we look east to the sunset-facing Catalina Mountains. In fact, a local singer/songwriter penned a ditty called ‘When the Mountains Turn Pink It's Time for a Drink.’
