Default Thru Flow Decking for Raft

Anyone have Thru Flow Decking on their docks on patio? I like the idea however I'm afraid little fingers and toes can get stuck. We were considering it for our community raft...

Thoughts?

Sounds interesting. I haven't heard of it before your posting. I'm sure you will get some good facts regarding them from the members.

My Florida neighbor bought a huge pile of "Thru-Flow" decking through eBay. (A little strange, as his new home is a $2-million home).

His concern was not so much with little fingers and toes, but the very strong wind and peak tides in that locale.

I've since walked on their dock, and it gives very good traction where it goes up a relatively steep angle; overall, it seemed very sturdy. The holes are not very big, so it should be safe for little ones. However, in your community raft application, I don't think I'd want to sit on it directly, as the surface might leave a lasting impression!

Below is a photo I took before everything was assembled.
