Default Recommedations on where to find rentals

I apologize if I should not be posting this thread, but I checked out the Forum classifieds and could not find what I am looking for.....

I got a call from my husband's uncle who asked if I knew of any place around Winnie that he could rent for a week in the summer that would sleep 9 couples. The classifieds that were listed on the Forum were only 1 - 3 bedrooms.

I have no problem searching the web or contacting Real Estate agents, I just did'nt know if anyone could make a recommedation on who to contact.

Thanks and if this should not have been posted, please Don, feel free to delete.

Sorry I should have done a bit more checking.....at the "advertisments" on the Forum.....already found 1 or 2 that would accomodate such a large group.

I would delete this thread....but don't know how.

Default Rental Info

Also you may want to try Maxfield Real Estate, they manage a large number of rental homes on the lake. I also use them to manage my property, (no on Winni) and they do a wonderful job. Go to their rental tab....

Preferred Vacation Rentals has the largest number of vacation rentals in the Lakes Region. I'm mostly certain that they will have something that would definitely suit your needs. I also heard that they are even accepting reservations for next summer.

You can book online at www.preferredrentals.com or call them - they also have a staff that is there 7 days a week from 9:00 to 4:30.

And no, I am not an employee!

Good luck!

You might want to checkout The Oliver Lodge in Meredith.

You might also try the Center Harbor Inn....check out their web site...
www.centerharborinn.com They have a nice place and it looks like you need 9 bedrooms for 9 couples... more in line for a motel than a private residence. Could probably get a group rate to boot.

Default Oliver Lodge

I'll second the Oliver Lodge. They can accomodate large groups, and the owners Herb and Lydia are really nice. We've stayed there for the past 5 years and it's always really fun.

Smile Vacation rental websites

We have had good luck finding rentals on www.homeaway.com. Another similar website is www.vrbo. They usually have an extensive listing of rentals and often for larger groups such as you are looking for. Stayed at one on Winni in September and were very pleased with it.

Default Try cyberrentals.com

I've had luck finding places on this website on Lake Winnipesaukee. Right now there are several places on the lake in Alton that sleep 12+. You can search by towns around the lake if you prefer a particular area.

We rented our place out every week for the whole summer last year on

Cyberrentals.com

We had people ask us how we managed to rent out every week in a down economy. Cyberrentals.com was the only thing we used. Of course we also provided linens and towels, which was a big seller. But anyway check them out.

Thumbs up Oliver's Lodge

I heartily reccomend Oliver's. They hosted our class reunion. Great people to work with and the place is second to none!
