Default Question on thread & things

I still think this forum is a wonderful site.

I guess I will vent some of my problems with the forum.
  • I use New Post to check what I might have missed. I want to totally turn off one thread. Is there a way to do this?
  • I still can not reach the forum site at certain times. Is this my site or volume on the forum? Last night was a time I couldn’t get on.
  • I wish that members would start a new tread when going off topic. You have to read all treads to find out if there is anything interesting being posted. Also some treads get so long that the original purpose or title is lost.

FL,
Good idea to vent. Some things might be true and some might not. Either way you get some feedback.

I can't remember the last time I could not get on the site. Extremely reliable.

Like your idea of a "not interested" option on a thread.

My dream is a button on each of the new post that allows you to reset so you are considered current on that thread. I believe you have to go into each thread to reset the "new" factor. Sometimes I just can't bring myself to go into a s___p limit thread.
