My best memory of centre harbor is when I was a kid on the island I had a 1962 13' whaler "butt buster" bought new on the lake by my grandparents.
I would take everyone and anyone anywhere. One summer we made it our mission to snorkel many wrecks, mainly steamboat.
In my youthful ignorance I thought a great investment would be 50 feet of clear plastic tube in centre harbor thinking I would be able to breathe at depth. I have since had time to understand physics a little better.

Regardless we did plenty of snorkeling and had most fun in shallow water finding prop marks and propeller blades left by the warriors.
