Default Good Advice Ignored

Well, at least in my part of Gilford, at least one Black Bear is out of hibernation. LOL

Woke up to this scene this morning.

Default Good advice

Steve, i live in center harbor (west). At 8:30 pm we had 4 bears in our driveway, a mother, 1 yearling and 2 cubs! By grabbing my keys and activating the emergency horn they ran off quickly. That was thursday 4/14

Our feeders are put away, but our neighbors' feeders are still out. We found a HUGE "parting gift" in our back yard a few days ago. At least it's a lot easier to spot (and clean up) than what the turkeys left for us. We had an "Easter egg hunt" in the yard a few weeks ago when the feeders came down. The trick is finding it before you step in it.

Default Bears

We had 4 bears come over our fence in Alton Bay 2 weeks ago. Completely wiped out the bird feeding station. Read in the paper last week that feeders should be brought in by April 1st.

Default UPDATE Our neighbor's feeders.....

So, as of this morning the neighbor's backyard has 3 or 4 feeders that look eerily similar to the ones shown in SteveA's pic.
