Default Bald Eagles

So there appear to be THREE bald eagles near Smith Point on Long Island. Not positive of the number but definitely bald eagles. Majestic and kinda bad a&*!

Saw a big bald eagle flying over the house yesterday morning (Long Island near Harilla).

What caught my eye was the size of the shadow it cast, beautiful looking bird with a massive wing span.

Default Eagle

We have an eagle(s) that has been visiting regularly in front of our house at Smith Point in W.Alton ( Marker 48 on the lake). I will ask Mrs. SPB to post some pictures

I see South Point off Windymere Rd, from Windy Point Rd, and then to the east of that is Minister Point Rd and Minister Point.

Maybe South Point?

Hi Steve... I know where this Smith Point is. The 1st post referenced Smith Point on Long Island, at the SE end of the island off Windemere Rd. All I see there is South Point.

There has been a pair of eagles around the Weirs channel. Constant sightings in the spring, fewer in summer. I spot them semi-regularly now even though I'm not outside looking up very much.
