We purchased Yankee Pot Roast as take-out this past week. It was fabulous!

Default Fantastic Prime Rib Meal

Visited the Village Kitchen last night with our family. Ordered what had to be one of the best Prime Rib dinners I have ever had in any restaurant. The cut of meat was easy to carve, the taste delicious and the portion size much more than adequate. Add a great baked potato and sweet corn on the cob and I'm telling you the Village Kitchen's Prime Rib is far better than the Woodshed's and/or The Canoe combined. We have given up on the other establishments, the tried and true Village Kitchen is unbeatable....just particularly very good at everything they do.

Well done VK, best restaurant in the Lakes Region hands down!

I'm glad to hear this--had prime rib there last year that I would've been embarrassed to have served. Easily 1/3 fat. In five or so visits to Canoe last year, not a single slip-up, but maybe it's time to try VK again.
