Default Trivia ?? Question #4

Okay, I'm beginning to run low on these (I'm sure some are saying "Thank God) ............

If you left Center Harbor and boated an (almost) straight line across Winnipesaukee you'd end up at Clay Point - The Bahre Estate -

Question is ........... How far (miles) did you travel ???

I bow out. Changing an answer would be cheating. But I have done some more calculating... and I was off.

How about 16.1 miles, assuming you didn't rev it up and hop over any land

Default Trivia #4

There are a few small islands in the way,so a little extra distance to get around them, so my guess is 16.75 miles.

Default Wow !!!

Wow .......That was quick

Didn't think that one was a "slam dunk" easyone ......

I personally figured the answer was somewhere in the 20 mile+ range. It came about as we were cruising around this past (gorgous) Saturday showing friends, new to the Lake, the Bahre Estate- I popped my GPS into "Go To" for Center Harbor to give them an idea of distance "down" the lakes midsection.

Keeping in mind that I was back near the Red Top off Clay Pt and I have my GPS "waypointed" well off the Docks at Center Harbor in addition my "Go To" function will "hop right over" small islands i.e. straight line "Go To" function

I got 15.6 miles indicated

WiFi -- I'd say you hit it pretty much Right ON, given there are a few obstacles that needed circumventing in the path !!

Default Trivia #4

Hey, I like my 16.75 - what about the extra miles Wifi will have to go to get his lower unit repaired when he doesn't dodge the islands in his way ??? The GPS was probably made by a local marina with a strong lower unit repair department. !! (only kidding !!)

When I said there was a few obstacles that needed to be circumvented, that didn't include going around Long Island and under the bridge

Sorry Camp guy
