Default ...new WV gondola or chondola?

Linking the Waterville Valley Town Square with the ski area, about 9000 feet away ...... https://liftblog.com/2020/02/07/wate...and-a-gondola/ ...... recent land clearing of trees at two different side perimeter spots next to the parking lot at the Black Bear Lodge, close to Town Square and on both sides of the Mad River within the White Mountain National Forest close to the bridge where the West Side Rd crosses the Mad River suggest that some new activity is happening with regard maybe to a new gondola ....... or something? I have NO clue! ... .... Possible new unknown construction happening at the West Side Rd bridge area?

Time will tell? .....

Every year from about April 6 to November 24, the Waterville Valley ski area is totally shut down, and there is NO business happening, NO MONEY is spent up there, despite their 20-million(?) dollar, winter ski facility. There used to be a pay phone, outdoors, at the entry stairs but now that is gone. It is a 20-million dollar ski facility that generates ZERO money from April 6 to November 24 ...... zero! If you go there, everything is locked up, and there is no way to spend even one dollar .... not one quarter .... not one thin dime! .... so very SAD!

https://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums...ley+base+lodge ..... remodeled base lodge from Oct 16, 2019

So, I suppose building a 9000' gondola could be a step to be changing this 'no money' April to November situation ....... who knows ..... not me?

www.waterville.com/cams .... building the bottom loading base for their new six-seat, enclosed bubble chairlift to replace 4-seat White's Peak chairlift ... construction is ongoing

So, are these four different land clearing locations, which all seem to be in directional alignment with the proposed 9000' gondola the first step for building the concrete bases to support tall gondola towers to carry the moving gondola cable which is somewhat similar to the Mt Snow, Vermont gondola in the 1960's that connected the base lodge with the Snow Lake Ski Lodge, there on the flat level base area at Mt Snow, Vermont. This Waterville Valley gondola will connect Town Square to the ski area, a distance of about 9000' with elevation going from about 1800' to about 2100' and traveling through Forest Service land once it crosses the Mad River and heads up to the ski area ....... somewhere.

By car, by blue shuttle bus, or by proposed gondola ...... how to get from Town Square to ski area .... or by bicycle, by cross country skis .... or by those two things down there .... your walking feet! .....

According to the master development plan on file with the USFS, a prospective gondola or chondola would go from Town Square to the summit of Green Peak.
