Default ..... summer ice skating: $5

The Waterville Valley Ice Arena is open for the summer, costs $5/person/session, with rental skates available for another 5-dollars. A cup of k-cup coffee/hot chocolate costs $2 ....... omg!

Walking into the ice arena is like walking into a huge, 40-degree cold, indoor refrigerator. It is a very large and luxurious ice rink, probably the same size skating area as the Boston Bruin's ice in Boston.

It's also a good place to hit the free town beach, and go swimming, or go bicycling, or all three, a tri-athalon with skating-swimming-biking.

If you are unsteady on ice skates, the rink has individual support stands, sizes child and adult, that are similar to ambulatory care walkers for gliding the ice .... which seem to get a lot of use .... even by good skaters.

One of the nicest hiking areas in the state. Plus there is a lot to do in Waterville Valley. Check out the Rec Dept.
