Default Jan 16. 2013 snow totals

Alton Bay a half mile west of the lake above Sandy pt. 4 Inches. Still snowing lightly.

Top of Alton Mountain we are a bit closer to the 5 inch mark and is snowing VERY fine at the present time.

4.5" in Suissevale on my deck....Used my 5th grade ruler....
Although I think it might have been slightly more earlier. I think it started getting heavier and settled a bit, because under the snow it was fairly wet. ???

Over on the back side of Lake Winnisquam they got about 4" ....the cold is coming and looking to be settling in for awhile.

I'd say a general 4-5 inches from Concord to Belmont, Laconia, Gilford area.
By the time I'd finished plowing at your place by 8:30 Winnisquamguy it had compacted to maybe 3".
Snow was heavy wet pasty type but and by 9pm all that moisture had evaporated and it settle down.
To bad, not really enough to start a base but at least it's going to get & stay cold.
