Default william Tell Restaurant

Back in 1990 there was a restaurant named "The William Tell" at Smith Point. after the owners retired who bought it? Did it stay in business? Was it the Woodlands, the Lodge? I saw some reviews from 2018. Is it still open?

It is vacant. The Lodge didn’t last.

Woodlands didn’t make it and neither did The Lodge. It has been shuttered for over a year now with a for sale sign. Very sad.

I heard that the place had been sold to a Manchester brew pub operator who was bring his business to the Lodge site, but I have not been able to confirm that. Post up if anyone has news

The sign out front still says “available.”
