Default Nice time for boating

We took about an hour ride today heading north from Welch. 60 degrees, almost dead calm and partly sunny. Just poking around. And in that entire time we did not see another boat on the water. Just one loon.

Last weekend at the Weirs we saw a Loon and several Seagulls who were making dives to the water. There was a boat fishing very early.

I am a retired workaholic and continuing aquaholic.

We went from Winter Harbor to Wolfeboro Bay, South Wolfeboro Bay and through the Varneys and back. We saw one boat leaving Wolf. town docks, 3 fishermen and an MP boat. Two fleeces and a lined windbreaker, off and on sun and calm water made for a beautiful ride.

We went from the tip of Alton Bay out to around Lake Shore Park and then back. It was a great couple of hours. We practically had the lake to ourselves and it was dead calm. It was plenty warm with a sweater and fleece.

It was actually our first ride on our new boat which is also the first boat we've ever owned. I can't believe we get to live here!

Congratulations on the new boat. Be careful. It's addictive.
