Default 97%

Looking at NH Elec coop website, 97% of moultonborough is without power. That is pretty impressive. Hopefully it comes back on soon.

Wonder if that was caused by the poles down in Melvin Village?

It is a real bad time to have the power go out, feel bad for all those that got hit. And what about the line crews? Replacing a pole is a big job in good weather, must be hell in snow and wind.

I am presently driving to Florida. I left yesterday before the storm and I am staying with a lake friend in Wallingford, Ct. until Thursday. I knew I would have trouble getting out of NH if I stayed there. My husband and sister are in Moultonborough and they still do not have power. My husband ate a peanut butter sandwich for dinner and my sister had a salad.

Excellent! Glad they didn't starve.

Lost power? Peanut Butter? Eat the ice cream first! Peanut Butter won't spoil. BTW: Peanut butter makes a great topping for ice cream.

PSNH thinks 97%. That probably includes all the summer folk who aren't there. In my neighborhood, more than 50% have generators.
