Default A Christmas Card To Everyone

A friend created this card from within, hand drawn by her, and sent to me with an even more beautiful message inside!
I wanted to share this with you all.

Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Years as well.

Default Very nice!

Wonderful thread, TR! I'm enjoying your cards, as I'm sure many others are.

I do have one observation ... You're not old enough to have a Grandson!!!!!! Jeepers! You are one youthful Grampa!

Default That's how it looks here right now!

Here in E. Central MA there is ice on the trees, just like the picture. We lost power a couple of hours ago and it is dark and eery out. My laptop battery is getting low so no more surfing for me tonight.

McD, what it the big yellow glob in the postcard?

trfour - This IS my Christmas card. I am printing my own this year. However, since you asked, I will place my greetings elsewhere.
IG - No idea about the yellow. Must be artistic license.

You look like your always in a big hurry......... Maybe this is why you think that a simple post card can replace a (Christmas Card with multiple pages and maybe another letter inside).

It is your choice.

Trfour, just because McDude chose this postcard photo as the basis for his Christmas card, doesn't mean that he is sending it as a postcard. He may be using this as the front to "real" card with a greeting inside. That is what I would do. It is a very nostalgic and acceptable statement using this old photo, in my opinion, not to mention that vintage postcards are McDude’s “thing.” This rare snow postcard is very special and represents him well. If you were to go out and take a Christmas photograph from the lakes region and turn it into a card, that would suit you perfectly as photos have been your “thing.”
I do agree that random pictures and postcards shouldn’t make their way into this thread and that is not what happened here.

Thank you Rattlesnake Gal!......... Dates and times have been changed.

I come from a family of twelve, Mom and Dad and ten children.
Dad had a neat woodworking shop, Mom made all of the costumes and also many of our clothes for Church as well as school,..Plays, cheerleading for my sisters.

One time, when I was in the sixth grade, out in LA. CAL, Mom made me a football outfit. Guess what,..... We won!

As children, we did not go out and buy Christmas cards or presents for each other, we hand crafted, designed and made them.

In the Christmas spirit of this thread,.. again, Welcome and thank you all!
Let us move on.

Default A Joyous Christmas to all

I am here just east of Seattle, listening to my early Christmas present, a new grandbaby, cry to be fed.

He was born on Tuesday, just one day after I arrived. As a witness to the miracle of this birth, I am truly grateful for this gift.

Thanks to all of you who have given love and support in the last year as I have needed you all.

A new year awaits us as we share our love for the most beautiful place on earth.

As always,
Island Girl

Default I'll finish

A GOOD NIGHT. Merry Chistmas and a Happy New Year to ALL.

Did we all get what we wanted or did we get what we needed?

There is a chance of SNOW here in the Garden State (Gahden for the folks in NE) today but as usual a day late and a dollar short.
