Default Howcome?

How come there are NO webcams pointed at Meredith Bay. One would expect
one of those fauncy inns would have a camera hanging off a roof to show us
what we're missing.

Smile Good Question

I have sent e-mails over the years suggesting they put one in, but to no avail. It seems to me that it would make good business sense to have people stopping in to your website to get their daily lake fix, tempting them to come stay and play.

Default Meredith Bay

I went by this afternoon and Meredith Bay is full of punk ice. The only bob houses left were over by Indian Island. There were five of them.

Default Meredith Bay Camera

Haven't we seen TV views of Meredith Bay via a WMUR camera mounted somewhere?

You're right. The WMUR camera is mounted on the roof of The Inn at Bay Point. Great place for a webcam!

It would be nice if WMUR did whatever is necessary to make that view available like any other webcam. That couldn't be a big deal, could it?

I asked these same questions back when I first joined here.
The camera used by WMUR is a TV camera not a web cam. I would guess that it would wear out quickly if in constant use.
The Inns in Meredith must have some sort of arrangement with WMUR for their camera so adding a web cam could be a conflict. I bet WMUR has a contract that prevents any other camera, web or otherwise, from being used on the Inn's different properties.
