The Amazon Prime Video series, "The Expanse" features "Winnipesaukee" this week. Here are a couple screen shots.

I don’t recognize the area in that screen shot. Any idea?

Studied the picture for an hour trying to figure it out. I don't think it is winnipesaukee. Look at the horizon. The lake is mostly surrounded by large mountains and I see a relatively flat horizon. ????

Good catch.

It looks like the Canadian or Alaskan tundra.

Hope they are not using stock pictures from someplace else.

Agreed. I don’t think it’s Winnipesaukee either.

Hmmm, I just looked at it quickly, the series is filmed in Toronto, definitely referenced Winnipesaukee in NH...... Winnipesaukee Island.

Its lake Muskota in Ontario. Nothing was filmed in NH. Just used the name.

Default Expanse

Great show, and even better books. In the books, the characters have to make it to Rattlesnake Island on Lake Winnipesaukee to catch a space shuttle to the moon. I guess for the show they simplified it to just Winnipesaukee Island...
