Default Thunder September 14th??

There was alot of noise in the sky last night over the lake in the direction of Meredith....Thunder? Fireworks? What else? 11pm and later. Very regular, very persistent.

Biketemberfest at the Weirs was loud all day. We're 4-5 miles away and the sound boomed across the lake. Fireworks started after 11 and ran for 20 minutes or so.

Yes, the fireworks at the Weirs was fantastic. Beautiful colors and tons of loud noise. I was surprised there were not a lot of boats watching. Apparently the festivities were not well known.

Default Biketember successful?

Was Biketember successful? We were in Saunders Bay for the evening and not aware of any bike noise. We had no trouble hearing music from Meadowbrook.
Good PR for the Steamboat Regatta and the Vintage Boat races; I was unaware of Biketember. Lots to do this weekend.

Default Musical Booms

Last night, we could hear music and, later, fireworks from our place on East Bear Island. 🐻
