Default Watermark

We had Watermark move ours a few years ago. Pretty smooth - I put a marker where I wanted it moved, and the next time they drove by with the barge & excavator, they just hooked up to it and slid it over to the new spot.

As a kid, I recall moving one from north side of Welch Island to the south. Half a dozen men on the port aft corner of the boat lifted the line as tight as they could and fastened it. When they moved to the other side of the boat, the mooring lifted and the boat took off with the mooring in tow. Reverse procedure on the other side. Still there, but hasn't been used in, say, 50 years.
