Thumbs up .... wvicearena.com

For watching ice hockey played by men/woman, boys/girls, organized school hockey teams from NH, Vt, Me, Ms, RI, Ct & 'Oh Canada!', ages about 11 & older ..... the www.wvicearena.com in Waterville Valley, NH has a new website ..... and they are broadcasting their mostly weekend hockey games.

This rink is huge ..... like, just as big as the Boston Garden-Boston Bruins home ice ..... and extremely smooth using a Zamboni ice restorer .... very well run with a heated skate change area, ice skate rentals, skate sharpening, figure skating, hockey, recreational skating in a big circle, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, snacks, Town Square restaurants very nearby: 4-different restaurants: Legends-WV Pizza-Mulligan's-La Hacienda Mexicana, ambulatory care style walker-stands in both youth and adult size for supporting beginner skaters until they get their ice legs on ..... high performance sound system, is always about 40-45-degrees & dry, inside the ice arena, even when the outside temperature is in the 90's & humid, Saturday night fireworks 7:30-pm in January & February ...... the very reliable and very busy WV Dept of Safety ambulance service with a 25-minute fast, scenic drive to the very friendly Speare Memorial Hospital emergency room in Plymouth, NH..... a very happening ice arena ...... in a very happening and scenic location .... the WV Ice Arena!

Looking at the 7-acre, Corcoran's Pond photo at the top of www.watervillevalley.org the large, dark red, single story with the large black roof building on the right is the WV Ice Arena, and the four story high, white buildings on the left is the Town Square with the four restaurants plus a grocery store that makes sandwiches.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_Canada and yes, the grocery store has real Canadian/Canadien beer-biere, but no alcohol is allowed in the WV Ice Arena so's just forget about that idea!

Just picture yourself renting some figure skates ...... and practicing camel spins with the help of the vinyl tipped, 4-legged support stand ..... that's similar to the ambulatory care walker ...... Oooooh Waterville Valley!

www.waterville.com/cams/ .....screen right shows either Town Square or outside WV Ice Arena .... depending ...
