Default Navigation Question @ Sandy Point

On their latest map, Bizer indicates a no wake zone at Sandy Point. Is the no-wake zone from Sandy point to the flashing bouy or from Sandy point to the red marker?

Older versions of the Bizer map spells out 'no wake to the flashing bouy". But, this year's map is not as specific. I suspect the no-wake zone has been reduced to the red marker.

I believe it to be from the shore to the red marker. FWIW most boats can safely navigate the wrong side of the black marker.

Default Navigation at Sandy Point

The New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules states that Between the red top buoy located by light buoy #23 and Sandy Point in Alton Bay shall be a "no wake" area in either direction.

Prior to Bizer's fifth edition, we incorrectly noted that the "no wake" area extended to light #23.
