Interesting!
The floats look a little short for landing in rough water. I would be interested to see how high it will go. It looks like it may only operate in ground effect. I have a lot of questions: price, duration of a battery charge. Time will tell |

Not to be too much of a naysayer, but I'm guessing it's an incredibly low flight time (30 minutes?) followed by a charge of several hours. A Nissan Leaf battery weighs 660 lbs to roll a small car about 80 miles. But the Kitty Hawk weighs only 220 lbs total--maybe 100 lbs of battery? And the strain to lift and fly 400lbs (including pilot) has to be HUGE (I leave that to the forum's engineers). |

Don't forget to add the weight of the operator, which could add upwards of another 150 lbs.

They say TV makes people look 20 lbs heavier. In your case, snowmobile suits must do the same thing.
You are welcome, Dan. 😉😁 Back to the thread. Sent from my GT-P5210 using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app

And keep in mind the meat grinders (aka propellers) that surround this thing!

This thing looks perfect for anyone who does not need to be bound by the laws of physics or current battery technology.
