No smoking at the Weirs

Laconia Bans Smoking At Parks, Beaches POSTED: 10:46 am EDT March 10, 2009 LACONIA, N.H. -- Smoking now is banned at city parks and beaches in Laconia. What Do You Think? Share Your Thoughts The city council approved the smoking ban on Monday at 17 places, including Weirs Beach. The city Parks and Recreation Department recommended the ban at the suggestion of the Laconia Little League. Violators will be fined $50 for a first offense, $100 for the second and $200 for the third. They also could be removed from the area.
