Default Wolfeboro Bay Watershed Management Plan Virtual Kickoff Meeting Tomorrow

You may have seen the press release in the Laconia Daily Sun about the Wolfeboro Bay Watershed Management Plan meeting which was scheduled to be in-person, at the Wolfeboro Town Hall at 4pm tomorrow. Due to forecasted weather, we have decided to move this to a virtual meeting. For more information about the plan, or to join the meeting, please view the information below.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Town of Wolfeboro was awarded a $100,000 grant to develop the watershed management plan for the Wolfeboro Bay subwatershed. The town has contracted with FB Environmental Associates and the Lake Winnipesaukee Association to complete the project. Lake Winnipesaukee is a shared resource and due to the size of the lake, its physical structure and shape of interconnected bays rather than a single cohesive body of water, management plans are developed at the subwatershed level.

A public kick-off meeting will be held on February 28,2023 at 4pm in the Great Hall at the Wolfeboro Town Hall. FB Environmental Associates will provide a general overview of the management planning process and scope of work. Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, we are changing the kickoff meeting from in-person to virtual. Below is the zoom invite from FB Environmental. We look forward to seeing you all virtually!

FBE is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Question Maybe $hared with Willing Homeowners as a Test?

How far would that $100,000 go, to line stressed shorelines with rip-rap?

Rip-rap made by Quikrete .....www.quikrete.com/productlines/riprap.asp[/ ...... sold by Lowe's and Home Depot ...... 30% discount by the pallet ..... delivery available

Data sheet has a detailed description. You simply set the 70-lb sealed bag under the water, positioned just so and return a day later to scrape away and remove the biodegradable heavy paper bag.

It takes 24-hours or less to get hard as concrete, and looks almost like the real New Hampshire gray granite.
