Default Cleaning Pontoon Boat Floor

Looking for suggestions on the best product to use for cleaning the floor of our pontoon boat. It has never been carpeted so it is always exposed to the NH weather conditions.

I have always used a pressure washer with yellow nozzle and have had great results. Just be careful around seams and furniture. No chemicals needed and can be done right at your dock...

Good luck!

We just bring a car washing scrub brush and environmentally safe cleaners, go to a quiet cove and scrub away...gets the vinyl reasonably clean so we can install the weave carpeting for summer.

This works great I clean the vinyl flooring of my fishing boat with a power washer all the time. Raw water does a good job but if I really wanted to get it really clean I'd just take it down to the self service car wash and blast it there. Nothing seems to deep clean like a power washer. In fact I've used it on the carpet too with very good results. Agreed with being careful though not to get to aggressive as those high pressure water streams can do some damage so using a fan tip versus a solid stream is a good way to avoid unwanted damage.

FYI, though the labels on many cleaners say they are eco-friendly and biodegradable that is not always the case. Bottom line is they cantaminents in the water and contain things that can be harmful to aquatic species. Washing boats in the lake is not really a good idea.
