Default Cider Belly Donuts @ Sawyers is Fantastic!

Finally went to the new Cider Belly Donuts trailer in the parking lot of Sawyer's Dairy Bar. Not ever having had them before, I really had nothing to which to compare; thus I only had my taste buds to trust. They have 3 varieties available as well as coffee. Also what they call Belly Flops, which are pieces of their donut dough that were fried but did not turn out in proper donut shapes.

I had the maple glazed donuts, which were warm (from what appeared to be a warming holding chest) and had a maple glaze drizzled on them. Outrageous!

They were $9 per dozen and I took the remaining 11 donuts to some fr4iends at the Gilford Town Office. The operation appears to be run by a young couple that also has the location in Meredith. The product I tasted was great and I wish them success. They are only open from early morning (around 6AM I believe) until Sawyer's opens at 11AM so that the parking does not become a problem.

If you have any trace of a sweet tooth, this is definitely worth a stop.

Default Excellent!!

We stopped by yesterday as well and thought the donuts were great!! You buy a dozen and you get a "bakers dozen" which is 13 donuts. The belly flops were awesome and a bargain!!

They have excellent coffee too!!

They have a great product and should do very well.

I wish them only success!

Dan

Default mmmmmm.....Donuts

We tried a dozen this morning. I went back in the house for a second one but they seem to have gone missing. (this happens often with 3 teens in the house) Anyways, I'll go again and make sure I get to try the maple as well as the cinnamon sugar. From what I can tell....they were excellent

Default Mouton Farms

We have been eating them for a couple of years. They have a trailer at mouton farms which is open all day on the weekends. All three flavors are great.

The only donuts that I like are Country Kitchen that I get in a store.
The plain ones are the best. Nothing better than a cup of coffee and a couple of those donuts...and I don't pay a lot for them.

Haha! Come on Rusty...... Those don't even come close to Cider Bellies or any other homemade doughnut.
