Giuseppe's is the only one who now serves the brick oven . . . pain in the butt to pick it up, but worth it if you do.

In my opinion, Heat went out of business because the pizza was costly (for most locals) and the size of the pizza didn't warrant it the cost. We're a family of 2 and a $17 small pizza is no biggie. When you have a family of 5 and need to order 3 of them, it becomes unrealistic when you can go to Gilford House for $20. Local restaurants need to cater to the locals, the tourists and seasonal's will only get you so far.

Default Gilford and Laconia House of Pizza

Both locations have great pizza at reasonable cost for families and large gatherings. Both make good subs and calzones. Check them out!

I suspect HEAT is Bike Week only establishment.

Post Plum Crazy Pizza

We stopped into Plum Crazy Pizza this weekend and it was quite good. We had a large pizza with multiple toppings and drinks for 3. The bill was less than $20 and we had more food than we could eat.

Plum Crazy is consistently fresh, hot, delicious and has some unique offerings. If you're looking for takeout pizza in Meredith, this is a much better option than Giuseppe's. (JMHO)

I need to get off the point more often. I'll need to look up Plum Crazy. I see a lot more signs for restaurants that I have NEVER heard of.

Don't forget about Louis' Pizza near the Liquor store on Rte 104 in Meredith....and also on 104 near 93 is Rossi's, where everything is excellent.
