Default Restaurant.com

I don't know how many people here use restaurant.com, but there are several restaurants in the lakes area listed. A few of them that I will be buying before my vacation are Schofield's at the Gunstock Inn and possibly Mame's. Right now you can get the gift certificates for 60% off and you will receive a free $10 gift certificate if you use the code KITCHEN.

Thumbs up Shop online, save money AND support local business

Restaurant.com does specials of up to 80% off, and the vendors vary over the course of the month. A lot of the restaurants mentioned in these forums participate. Some certificates have restrictions, but they're still VERY reasonable. I also found a way to get points and commissions every time I get these certificates, which is something I do ANYWAY! (PM me if you want to learn how!) Other restaurants participating include Abondante, Mise En Place, Lyons Den, Walter's Basin and more!

Another great local resource is the Dollar Saver, which I've mentioned before. It has more than just restaurants, though. Water parks, golf passes, salons, landscaping, and lot sof OTHER stuff (besides restaurants).

It really is possible to shop online AND support local business.

Thank you for the other 2 websites!!! I will definitely be getting a couple of gift certificates for Hart's. I like to eat there a couple times while we are at Weirs Beach. I will also be getting a gift certificate for Common man because we always have to stop at the Tilt N Diner on the way home.

Just be aware that the really popular restaurants sell out quickly.

I usually log in early on the first and stock up.

Just tried out restaurant.com and had a great experience. We ended up at Slim's in Rochester and found it to be a great little place for Tex-Mex food. I found a coupon for 50% the gift certificate price, so a $25 gift certificate cost me only $5. (Use the coupon code: ALL)

Thursday night's are buy one/get one free on the house margaritas - just pray you don't have to work on Friday morning after that special!

Thanks again!

Yes - I just got that email offer, too, and may have just completed some Christmas shopping.
