Favorite post of his, he mentions Slocum's Marine on Winnisquam. Only mention of it on this forum.

This was before Mark and Eddie took it over/purchased it. It had a very large on the water boat house. As a little kid I always "kind-a" thought it was haunted.

Very first day on the lake, (Dad) got stopped by marine patrol in front of it by a MP officer who only had one arm. A memory I will never ever forget. As a little kid sometimes your imagination runs wild, I figured dad's going to jail and were going to be homeless and that I might not ever see my brothers and sister ever again.

Hello. Yes I read the forum every day. I just never “ pick up the pen”.

I was suppose to be at the lake today but that 4 letter word had other ideas. “ WORK”. I hope to go up later tonight.

The dogs and I just arrived at the lake, so yes, I'm well.

I used to have more time to post from work, but changes have interrupted my "creative time"

But it's been good changes.

I always tell my self "I'll post that thought when I get to the lake". Then I get to the lake and it's: empty the car, walk the dogs, sweep the porch, make a drink, open the boat, eat something, get the kayak out, deploy a flotilla of floatie toys, make a drink. Then entertain friends, talk to nieghbors, fix ..... Something, sit back and relax..... Read the forum, start to type.... Fall asleep.

Rinse n repeat.
