Fireworks Mark Island?
There’s been a barge anchored off the north end of Mark for a while and the Gilford fire and rescue boat has been nearby with the lights flashing. There appears to be firework tubes on the barge and one of the firemen just boarded the barge and is holding a clipboard as if he’s checking something. We were going to go to Meredith for ice cream tonight and now I’m thinking we may have great seats for fireworks. Any of our Mark Island friends know anything about this?

Yup
Judging from the sounds and flashes my ip camera picked up, there were some serious fireworks off Mark tonight.
There will be some (probably less spectacular) fireworks off my barge (mmm, raft) on Saturday — weather permitting.... North side of Mink! |

Yes, thank you to whoever put on the fireworks. It was a first class display! Steve, from where we are I thought it was right in front of your house and that we might have to thank you.
