November Dinner Meeting
Our November Dinner Meeting will be held at the Balmoral Clubhouse. The dinner will be a catered Italian meal by Buckey's. Choices will be Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo, Sausage Cacciatore, Chicken Parmigiana, garden salad & garlic bread. The cost will be $14.50 and we require payment in check form made out to the Moultonboro Snowmobile Club. Arrival time: 6:15 P.M. for social time and appetizers; dinner will be served at 7:P.M. Please bring your beverage of choice, coffee will be available. Appetizers and dessert will be needed. Please call Cheryl Higgins at 253-4372 or a-mail at winnfabric@roadrunner.com for your reservation and possible appetizer or dessert offerings. We need a final count by October 29th because I will be away that weekend (which means George will be on his own for this meeting!). Be kind to him. He will need the usual help with set up and clean up. Sounds like a nice meal, so enjoy and I'll see you at the December Meeting/Dinner at Hart's Turkey Farm.
Please check our Website for full Dinner Meeting and Events schedule. http://www.moultonborosmc.org/Events.htm

Help!
We currently have 2 positions we would like to fill for this season. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors or volunteering as the Secretary for the Club we would like to hear from you. Both of these positions are active participants in the monthly Board of Directors meeting. If you are interested please contact our President, Greg Dearth or one of the board members. The time commitment for both positions is approximately 3-4 hours per month..

Groomer Fund Raising
We are fast approaching a time line where we must decide how to fund the balance of the $22,000 due at the time of delivery of the New Tucker Groomer. We have a tentative delivery date of November 15th. Depending what we have raised through of Fund Raising Drive we will have to make a determination as to whether we need to secure a Loan to cover the balance owed at that time.
Any one wishing to make a donation can do so by mailing it to the Moultonboro SMC PO Box 118, Moultonboro, NH 03254. Please note check “Groomer Fund” Link to Fund Raising details http://www.moultonborosmc.org/announcements.htm

Groomer Commissioning
Saturday, January 3rd. Commissioning of our New Tucker 1000 Groomer. This event will be held at the Club Garage on Highway Garage Rd. off of Moultonboro Neck Rd. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This will give every one a chance to see the New Tucker up close and see how it operates.

Fall Trail Work has started for this season. Anyone wanting to help only needs to show up at the Club Garage on Saturdays at 8:30 am. Dress appropriately for the conditions and bring a pair of work gloves. Check the website for up-to-date information www.moultonborosmc.org
We also have a Trail Work group that works on various projects during the week. If it is easier for you to help on a week day please call Leo Lemoine for a time and place to meet 603-253-4332.

Reroute at DOT Garage on RT 25 (TO RED HILL TRAIL)
We have had to make a major reroute at the DOT Garage on RT25. The DOT is reactivating the facility and will be fencing it in. We have been given permission to move the Trail to the back side of the utility shed nearest RT25. If you go by this area you will see the work that had to be done to build a retaining wall to create the Trial. We were fortunate to have the cement blocks donated to us by Colman Concrete, thankful to Randy Bickford of East Coast Foundations for hauling them in for us, plus a big thanks to Don Lemien for setting the Blocks and Rod MacDonald for being the “Head Honcho” on the project. There has been a cooperative effort in this project by many, the Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Trails and our Trail Master have worked together to make this happen.

While we are thanking people for volunteering and helping the Club the Board would like to thank Marc Burger , Club Member, of Berger, Katz and Weishaus, P.C. Public Accountants from Canton, MA for preparing our Club 2007 Tax Returns at no cost to the Club. Many Thanks.

We are also looking for people to Chair and organize several Club activities. If you are willing but not familiar with what is needed we can give guidance as to what has to be done to organize these Events; Progressive Super, Bon-fire, Easter Seals, Summer Picnic.

Annual safety Course, We will be conducting the Annual Safety Course again this year on December 20th at the Geneva Point Conference Center, 108 Geneva Point RD, Moultonboro, NH (off Moultonboro Neck RD).
