Default Center Harbor pics

Anyone know where I can get a a copy of an old picture of Center Harbor? The one I'm looking for specifically is looking down on CH bay with the Ossipee Mts in the background. It was taken from the top of what used to be Old Center Harbor Rd or Sunrise hill and recently renamed Coe Rd.I think the original picture showed some oxen being driven through a field.
Any help in tracking it down would be appreciated.

Default eBay Postcards

There are old postcards of the lake for sale on eBay. Right now, there's one with the following image of "Centre Harbor":

Hi Samiam,
If you go to the homepage on PhotoPost, scroll down and go into Historical Photographs. Then do a search for Center Harbor.
Same goes for Postcards. This way you don't get any recent photos.
(I like to put the number of thumbnails to 30. Quicker for me that way.)
Searching is the reason to describe all PhotoPosts well ~ an excellent feature of the site.
I do know the print you are looking for and I think I know where it is, I'll post it later. (Don't think it's in PhotoPost.)

I think this is the print of Centre Harbor you were referring to.

It can be purchased for a very reasonable price at Moose Country Store

Arrow

Here is a similar scene as a color postcard, but it is supposed to be Meredith.

I'm not sure which one I like better.

Default Centre Harbour

Hi Samiam: You would have missed this on a search of photopost due to the "olde" spelling. Click here for the W. H. Bartlett print/engraving.

Thanks McD. After searching as I told Samiam to, I went back and added the current spelling of Center Harbor to all my posts.
With so many historical photos and postcards, the search engine really is super helpful finding what you are looking for.

Default Bartlett Prints

I have a collection of Bartlett prints which are mostly in NH. There are several of them of the Lake area. I believe the NH Collection is 17+/- prints. There are recent copies of the original prints around. He was an English illustrator whose work was made into engraved prints. I did see one original painting years ago but the price then was off the wall. I know the prints I have contain 1 is from Red Hill, 1 from Meredith, 1 from Center Harbor. There are also many prints several prints of the White Mountains and the various Notches. I’ll have to wait until I get north to check these out.
