I was on the lake yesterday, Blacky cove, Center Harbor, Lake Kanasatka, and Moultonboro Bay, only to connect from one trail to another. There were pickup trucks on Blacky Cove and Center Harbor. These accidents just show the contrast between different areas of the lake and the need to know if it is safe before you go. My basic rule is don't go where others haven't gone.

This is a very sad day, 5 people gone, families devastated, may the victims rest in peace.

Please be careful out there, most of the lake is not safe and conditions can change within a day, an area that was safe yesterday may not be today.
