Good pizza

Tried Brookside House of Pizza in Belmont...

For years we drove by this Route 106 pizza place in Belmont. Well, we are kicking ourselves because the pizza is excellent - and the Greek salads are huge and fresh. And the bar is a place to chill out --- and the full menu available in the bar.

Now, we judged this book by its cover for a while, assuming it is a townie bar with a pizza joint attached that would likely be average. Wrong! Yeah, it has its regulars in the bar - just like all bars -- and everyone is very nice, polite and fun. The food is fresh, service excellent and friendly, prices good and food delicious. Healthy pour, as well.

Better late than never for this reformed snob!
