Static electricity
Just saw on a facebook forum (fish winni) that someone that stayed out fishing as the storms were building up discovered that his GRAPHITE ROD was collecting static electricity and would give quite ZAP when touching it!
Be careful as a spark on a boat at the wrong time could be disastrous (as we all know) |

Two friends if mine were fishing whwn some dark clouds moved in.
One guy cast his lure. The lure hit the water but the line stayed above it floating in the air. He said to the other guy "What does this mean?" "It means we had better get the hell out of here!" was his answer. Moments later all hell hroke loose! |
